The Four-Letter Word!

Many people do not use the four-letter "word." It may not be used because of fear of the reaction of others. At times, individuals that are not sure of the real meaning of it may even use it. However, some people are guilty of using the four-letter word far to often.

As Christians, we should be careful, but willing to use it. However, all of us need to remember it is important to understand the four-letter word before any of us use it.

The four-letter word, which is LOVE, is an attribute of God. Needed by each of us and never overused when properly understood and practiced!

Love is not only an attribute of God - but one of the aspects of the Fruit of the Spirit, mentioned in Galatians 3:22 -23. I Corinthians 13 is an entire chapter that is devoted to the idea and concept of "LOVE." In the last verse of that chapter it states, "faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." John 3:16 reminds us that, "For God so loved the world..." The Love of God is real, available to all of us, and life changing.

It might be good if we stopped for just a moment - took a breath - and thought about "LOVE." We have all experienced it in some degree and we can all share it.

Think about it and try to come up with 3 ways you might be able to let someone know that they are loved. And then be sure to act on those ideas.
