Pastor's Message
The First Day!Have you heard that "Today is the first day of the rest of your life?" Can you imagine the first day of the rest of your life starting out like the women mentioned in Luke 24:1. As the women approached the tomb with special spices on the first day of the week, their discovery was life changing. They encountered an empty tomb. They quickly learned that their Lord had risen. Their Lord, who was dead, was now alive! What a way to start the week! You and I have the joy of starting every day with the knowledge learned by Mary Magdalene, Joanna and Mary: He is risen! Today is the first day of the rest of your life - but the tomb is still empty and our Lord is still alive! Rejoice for a moment - in the midst of your busy life. Reflect on the fact that this first day of the rest of your life, just as in every day, you can rest in the peace and assurance of the living Lords presence.
