Reflections of the Heart

2007 has begun and the opportunities that are stretched out before you and I are countless. As a child of God, we must remember He was there in the past and He is here in the present.

What does that mean when I say "God is Here?" God is present and active in our journey!

To me, when I think of the Awesome God being present - Here - with me, I am humbled and thankful. I am drawn closer to Him with a desire to be more focused on Him and not the things of this world.

If He is here and if I am truly trying to focus on Him and His presence - it will show!

Proverbs 27:19 puts it this way: "As water reflects a face, so man's heart reflects the man".

If God is Here and I am truly focus on Him, my heart will be in tune with His heart. My heart will reflect His grace, love, peace and joy.

As I start this new part of my personal journey, as I start the year of 2007, my prayer is that my heart will be a reflection of Him and Him alone.
