Fernvale Community Church
is a supportive group of Christians from diverse backgrounds who gather each Sunday to seek God's word, share communion and fellowship. Ours is an informal, come as you are atmosphere. We welcome all to join us, regardless of where they are in their spiritual journey.

Established in 1849, the church was originally chartered as a Methodist Church, and since the early 1990's, has served as a community-based, nondenominational fellowship. The original building was constructed in 1885, and was destroyed by a tornado in February, 2008. Plans are now underway to rebuild on the original site, and we hope to occupy our new home by the end of 2009.

The Fernvale Community is an unincorporated area of Williamson County, Tennessee, located between Fairview, Leipers Fork, and nearby historic Franklin.

Our "permanent" temporary church in Fernvale
God provides... and how! The Buck Family, owners of Dirt Road Farm on Old Harding Road, have graciously offered their spectacular "barn" for the use of our congregation while we are in the rebuilding process. Located at 5190 Old Harding Road, Dirt Road Farm is one of the most recognizable facilities in Fernvale, and a blessing beyond our wildest expectations. Click here for directions.

Our beloved historic church is no more
A tornado that swept through the Fernvale Community on the evening of February 5, 2008, destroyed our church building, leaving nothing standing but the concrete steps that led to the front door. The church had stood on this site since 1885, one of the oldest such structures in Williamson County. We're going to miss our church "home," but the real church is alive and well. We will rebuild. Sunday
Moving Forward
The location may have changed, but our worship stays the same. Sunday School meets at 10am for children and adults, followed by our worship service at 11am.


Wednesday
Fellowship, Prayer, and Bible Study
We've consolidated several meetings that used to be scattered all over the week, and combined them to create one very special Wednesday evening at 6:30pm. If you've had trouble finding the time to attend all the activities previously, the new and improved Wednesday Evening might just simplify and enrich your life! CHILD CARE IS PROVIDED!
